Who We Are

Thomas Carpets, Inc. was established in 1967 by Bill Thomas and was originally both a residential and commercial flooring dealer. Over the next decade TCI gradually transitioned away from residential and in 1980 moved exclusively into commercial flooring.

Karl Bradbury joined TCI in 1975 and purchased the company from Bill Thomas when he retired in 1980. Around this time, TCI began securing premier projects around the Atlanta area including the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, the Twin Office Towers, Atlanta Central Library, and the Georgia World Congress Center.

By the mid 1980’s, TCI began to assemble a quality group of sales and project managers. We started focusing on healthcare projects and corporate clients while continuing our mission of securing and training quality craftsmen to install flooring in occupied environments.

Today we have acquired some of the top personnel in sales, project management, support, and installation, making us one of the leading commercial flooring companies in the southeast.
